My hair is about shoulder length. I want it longer, I was thinking on trying Rogaine just to see if that will halp my hair grow out faster. my only concern is that I have REALLY THICK HAIR!!! Do you think that Rogaine will make it even more thick?
I use Rogaine for some mild thinning. I've been using it for about 4 months, and it seems to be helping. however, I don't really notice my hair growing any faster, only that I have hair growing again in patches where it had thinned out. I don't notice my hair getting any thicker (as in the individual strands being thicker). It is thicker in the sense that I have more strands of hair than I did before.

I have a 3 year old niece who is very tender headed. She got a beautiful long thick hair and hate her hair to be comb. She would cry all the times once my sister starting combing it. She is starting headstart school in two months and my sister may have to put her long thick hair in braids. I am also tender headed even though I am an older adult. I would just let my hairdresser touched my hair or get my hair braided. Sometimes I just wear my hair in a long weave too.
